The photographic collages of Ilse Schrama interrogate the relationship between reality and virtual representation. The images, taken out of their natural context, are imagined as modern mosaics.  On the surface the aesthetic value of a photographic element presents itself as a cover for another conceptual research into the alternative, undefined space.
